Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern your use of the Puerto Galera Pass, the official online tourist registration and verification service of the Municipality of Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Puerto Galera Pass website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by or on behalf of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the Municipality of Puerto Galera (the "Municipality").
2. Purpose of the Service
The Service allows travelers and tourists to register their travel details, generate a digital travel pass, and complete any applicable tourism-related requirements or fees prior to and during their visit to Puerto Galera. Registration supports the safety, security, and sustainable tourism management of the Municipality.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a registration on behalf of yourself and any accompanying travelers. By registering minors or other travelers, you confirm that you are authorized to provide their information and to accept these Terms on their behalf.
4. Accurate Information
You agree to provide true, current, and complete information, including but not limited to:
- Full name, nationality, and contact details of each traveler;
- Arrival and departure dates;
- Accommodation and purpose of visit; and
- Any identification or supporting documents required for verification.
Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in denial of entry, refusal or cancellation of your pass, and may be subject to applicable local and national laws.
5. Tourism Fees and Payments
Where applicable, the Service may require payment of tourism-related fees (such as an environmental or tourism fee) as set by the Municipality through ordinance or resolution. Fees are collected for the administration and preservation of Puerto Galera's tourism resources. Unless required by law, fees already paid are generally non-refundable. Fee amounts and coverage may change without prior notice.
6. Your Travel Pass and QR Code
Upon successful registration and verification, you may be issued a digital pass and QR code. You are responsible for keeping your pass and QR code secure. Passes are personal to the registered traveler and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. The Municipality and its authorized personnel may scan, inspect, or validate your pass at entry points and within the locality.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
- Copy, tamper with, or forge any pass, QR code, or receipt; or
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
8. Compliance with Local Rules
While in Puerto Galera, visitors must comply with all applicable ordinances, environmental regulations, and directives of the Municipality and its agencies, including rules on protected marine areas, waste management, and public safety. Registration through the Service does not exempt any visitor from these obligations.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, seals, logos, and materials displayed on the Service are the property of the Municipality of Puerto Galera or their respective owners and are protected by applicable laws. You may not use them without prior written authorization.
10. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Municipality does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times, and may suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service without prior notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Municipality of Puerto Galera, its officials, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
The Municipality may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Effective date" above indicates when these Terms were last updated.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the appropriate courts having jurisdiction over the Municipality of Puerto Galera, Province of Oriental Mindoro.
